CHFL 2020 SEASON UPDATE
The following advice has been provided by the CHFL in regards to the CHFL 2020 Season:
On Tuesday 19th May AFL Victoria announced football training may commence in a limited form from Monday 25th May. Clubs have been advised of the protocols which must be put in place for training to occur.
The leagues Board of Management and administration will work to ensure clubs are kept informed of any further updates and look at how a fixture can be worked on to ensure the season goes ahead as smoothly as possible once they are advised of a possible start date.
The club has issued the following advice regarding training:
The committee together with Hamish (senior football coach) and Chris (senior netball coach) caught up on 22 May via a Zoom call. Some good news for senior netball. Chris advised he would be keen to start senior netball training as soon as we can meet the COVID-19 safety protocols.
The committee decided however that for now and until further restrictions are eased, we will not be re-starting junior netball or junior and senior football for the time being due to the tight COVID-19 safety restrictions advised by AFL VIC.
Re-starting senior netball training is a good first step. Of course we will keep everyone updated as things evolve.
Stay strong Doggies...things are getting better!
